epilogue: erin's brain survives

REPORTING LIVE FROM MY FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR: As the text that just screamed at you suggests....today was my first day of senior year. Which is insanity. *insert nostalgia here*

I just wanted to say that, wow, it has already been a crazy journey to even get to Monday, the 22nd. A lot of stress. A lot of silliness. A lot of emotion. But, God is good. And forward we shall go.

P.S. Heck yes I'm holding the first newspaper of the semester, and heck yes, it was a radical experience. Bring on the fall, yo.

P.S.S. My brain survived, thanks for the condolences. ;)

+ What are you stoked for this school year?

  1. Well I guess I'm kinda stoked to see what the school year will feel like w/o actually having school for the first time since kindergarten. 😱 haha. Have a great Senior year friend and try not to stress too much about it 😉 Easier said than done, I know. But reporting back as a graduated senior; you will get through it just fine 😊 Just enjoy the ride and try not to overthink it all.

    1. That's a good point! I bet it's both freeing, and nostalgia-inducing. Thanks Sophie! :) I'm trying not to, but to be real, it's hard. Stress is gettin' me these days. Thanks for the encouragement! I want to make every moment count. :)

  5. I AM STOKED FOR THE FIRST WEEK TO BE OVER. I'm just a baby first year and I am NOT DOWN TO GET LOST. But I'm also directionally challenged, so lost-ness will probably happen. I don't start until next Thursday (and then the for-real stuff starts the Monday after that) but gleeps I'm ready to get to October already!!

    1. Oh my goodness, the struggle of getting lost. I had a girl come up and ask me for directions on campus, and I felt so silly because I think I pointed her in the wrong direction! So you're not alone there -- it happens, no matter the grade level LOL!

For real, bring on October. I'm already dreaming of Halloween days and face paint and sweaters and pumpkins galore. But September isn't as bad as August, so I'm happy here for now :)

    1. Thanks!! I'm taking it one step at a time, yo.

I seriously have no idea....this year has been one big crazy adventure, honestly. AND I NOTICED THAT!! All of a sudden stores are springin' Halloween on us out of no place. But not gonna lie, I'm pretty pumped! I LOVE FALL <3
