21

I may or may not be one of those people that gets absolutely giddy & totally fanatically insane about my birthday. Like, when September 5th rolls around, I have no words. Every year -- well, except for when my Mom mailed a birthday card to our house for my ninth birthday and I got inexplicably weepy -- I have such a joy for my day of birth. It's such a simple thing, but a wonderful thing.

Today, I turn 21. Which excites me endlessly, but not for the reason you might think. (Sidenote: I actually feel convicted not to drink. Ever. I just don't see the point in it. As far as I am concerned, nothing good can come of my taking up a bottle.) This is the year I have dedicated to study the Word of God at the Bible Institute. I can't wait to see what 21 brings. I know it's going to be stellar!!
